Farmer, Former State Representative and USDA State Director Brad Finstad Files for 1st Congressional District Race
Finstad is the Republican nominee for the Special General Election on August 9

Saint Paul, MN – Brad Finstad, a fourth-generation resident of the New Ulm area, who won the GOP Special Primary Election on Tuesday, May 24, has officially filed for office to run in the Primary Election. Finstad will be on the ballot for the Special General Election and the Primary Election on Tuesday, August 9.

“I am running for office because we need to change the direction of our country. I’ll work hard to reverse the Biden-Pelosi agenda that has led to out-of-control inflation, high gas prices, and more government spending that has hurt families across the 1st Congressional District,” said Finstad.

“I’ll fight every day in Congress to get inflation under control, restore American energy independence, and secure our country’s borders,” added Finstad.

In this race, Finstad is endorsed by the Minnesota Republican Party, the Minnesota Peace and Police Officers Association (MPPOA), and Minnesota Citizens Concerned for Life (MCCL).
